Project Updates

Aside from working full time, I've also been splitting my time between peddling pedestals and freelancing. Currently I am working on a logo for a brand new massage therapy business called Therapeutic Touch from the Islands. They will be opening their doors in the coming months right here in Tacoma, Washington. Ann and Eugene have been great to work with and have some great ideas to contribute to the project.

I have also broken ground on a wedding invitation project for Grace's "Vintage Hawaiian Sunset" themed wedding. Grace and Tim will be married this September in the Tacoma area. Her theme and all of her details are absolutely beautiful and their wedding day will be magical! I am so excited to begin designing the invitations. We are still in the concept phase and picking out paper and invitation styles, but should be in the design phase shortly!

I am so thankful to have such a great husband who is understanding and let's me have my space to work on all of the side projects I have going on. I'm known to take on more than I can handle sometimes because I secretly hate to say no :) But I'm learning to better pace myself and take lots of breaks.

If you are interested in taking a look at my upcycled pedestals and candle holders, check out my booth at Sanford & Son's Flea Market on May 1st from 10am-5pm. They are located downtown Tacoma at 743 Broadway. There will be tons of great antiques, furniture, vintage clothing, crafts, and food!
